Job Description

For one of our clients, we are looking for a Rotating Equipment Specialist. This role is to act as the Technical Authority for Rotating Equipment ensuring risks to safe operation are recognized, assessed and appropriately mitigated.

Responsibilities
– Be aware of, understand and comply with the Ambatovy Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Policies and associated documentation.
– Provide technical leadership and be a resource in analysing day to day problems, trouble-shooting of issues, liaising with manufacturer or technical expertise to understand and improve reliability issues that affect plant operations.
– Establish Rotating Equipment Maintenance and Reliability Strategies.
– Guide Maintenance Superintendent to implement and improve maintenance standards and practices… And more.

The Requirements
Mechanical Engineer Degree and Vibration Analysis certification.
10 years working as a Mechanical Engineer.
5 years working in Rotating Equipment.
1 year working in Design Engineering.
2 years of technical and organizational experience in reliability practices in heavy industries context.
Language skills: English is essential. French is highly advantageous.
